Dr Jianjun Wang

Post-doc

Jianjun Wang was born in Shandong (China) in 1986 and studied pharmacy at Jining Medical University. He obtained his master in phytochemistry from Minzu University of China under the superversion of Prof. Chunlin Long in 2013. During his master study, he did 3 months internship in the group of Prof. Edward J. Kennelly at City University of New York (USA). He obtained his PhD in 2018 from Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) for his work in total synthesis and copper catalysis under the supervision of Prof. Gwilherm Evano. Then he worked with Prof. Xavier Pannecoucke, Dr. Tatiana Besset, Dr. Thomas Poisson on C-H activation and fluorine chemistry at the laboratoire COBRA as a postdoc fellow funded by Université de Rouen Normandie (France). In November 2018, he joined the group to work on synthesis of bioactive molecules.
